The UAB Department of Music is a wonderfully exciting place to continue your love of music. All classes in the Department are taught by an exceptional group of faculty whose sole purpose is to prepare you to succeed in music.

17– number of performing ensembles, which includes the UAB Marching Blazers, Wind Symphony, Blazer Band, Computer Music Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Gospel Choir, Concert Choir, Chamber Singers, Piano Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Women’s Chorale, Opera, Brass Ensemble, Clarinet Choir, Woodwind Quintet, Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo.
